What types of experiences are offered and permitted at the Forrester Centre?


Our venue specializes in private and ticketed events, performances, and specialty experiences, while executing all-inclusive weddings, corporate, and lifestyle experiences. 

How much does it cost to have a wedding, corporate, or lifestyle event?


All of our packages and pricing are listed under the appropriate event tabs on this  site.  Add on options are priced upon request at the time of booking.

Are children permitted in the venue?


Yes, when accompanied by a parent/guardian, children are more than welcome for private bookings such as a wedding or anniversary.

Can we view the venue before booking our wedding?

Yes, viewings are scheduled by appointment only and take place during the week when our floral boutique is open. Please note:  We are unable to offer viewings during the weekends as we are hosting events both on and off site.

How many groups do you accommodate at a time?


We accommodate one group at a time in our venue which allows for complete discretion and privacy.  

Are dogs permitted to be a part of a wedding ceremony?

Yes, however some conditions apply.  

Do you ever just 'rent out the hall' and allow guests to plan their own events?


No, our venue provides all inclusive, stress free experiences to guests with full event and wedding planning services provided in house by our creative team and industry partners.  We are a full service food and beverage establishment and provide all catering in-house as part of our experiences. 

Do you require a deposit to secure booking?


Yes, a non-refundable deposit/retainer of 30% of the selected package at the time of booking (refer to our 'wedding' and 'corporate & lifestyle' tabs for details and pricing.) The remaining balance is due on or before the day/evening of event.  Deposit for catering fees is over and above and will be outlined at the time of invoicing.   We accept the following methods of payment:  cash, corporate cheque, e-transfer, debit and all major credit cards.  *Private events and deposits impacted by Covid-19 will be transferrable to an alternate date.  

Do you offer Audio & Visual?


We sure do! Here’s what we offer:

  • Upper Level custom mic and podium

  • L1 Bose sound system

  • Large Bluetooth speaker

  • Smaller Bluetooth speaker

  • Projector and screen

  • Wi-Fi Internet access

Do you permit outside food and beverage into the venue?


No, we are a licensed food and beverage establishment and all food and beverage needs are to be booked in-house through our official caterer, Kilted Kuisine. Absolutely no beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are permitted to be brought onsite. Drinks can be purchased from our bar, however, we welcome special beverage requests that are coordinated with us prior to the event.

Do you have parking on-site?


We sure do!  We have a very large, private, and exclusive parking lot to the rear of the venue.  Guests are asked to park in the rear lot and not at the front of the venue unless you have accessibility needs.  

Is the Forrester Centre Accessible?

Yes, our upper level is fully accessible. 

Do you have hours of operation and can we just drop in for a cocktail?

No, due to the nature of the private and ticketed experiences we curate, we do not maintain regular hours of operation, nor permit walk in service. However, guests are welcome to keep an eye on our upcoming events and enjoy our cocktails then! Visit our 'events' tab for our complete event listings. 

Do you offer event planning and consultations for clients who could use some guidance with their own wedding and event planning, or who wish to book you to coordinate an event they are hosting?

Absolutely.  Reach out to request a consultation. Prices start at $150 plus tax per hour.
