A Seasonal Private Floral Studio

Highland Thistle & Bloom is a seasonal private floral studio specializing in thoughtfully designed wedding-party flowers.

​

Our floral season begins each year with the dancers of Forrester School of Dance and our annual May recital. Once our dance season comes to a close, we transition our  calendar to a limited number of wedding commissions through the summer and early fall, with select dates available into October and November. 

​

We intentionally keep our wedding work intimate and focused. Rather than large-scale installations or on-site wedding-day setup, our specialty is the floral details that become part of the people, the photographs and the memories of your day.

• Bridal and bridesmaid bouquets

• Boutonnieres

• Corsages

• Flower girl bouquets and floral accessories

• Floral collars and accessories for beloved pets

• Personal and family flowers

• Loose flowers and seasonal greenery for tables and décor

• Select small tabletop floral details

Every wedding is individually designed around your vision, colour palette, season and celebration.

We work with the beauty and availability of each season rather than designing around a guaranteed list of specific flower varieties. Specific flowers cannot be guaranteed, as availability, quality and bloom times vary throughout the growing season. Instead, we use your colour palette, preferred style, textures and design inspiration as our guide to create a cohesive floral experience that reflects your vision.

Begin Your 2027 Wedding Floral Inquiry

To begin the process of securing Highland Thistle & Bloom for your 2027 summer or fall wedding, please complete our client intake form below. We encourage you to complete the form in its entirety and provide as much detail as possible about your wedding, including your colour palette, preferred style, floral inspiration, wedding party and the overall feeling you hope to create.

While our intake form does not currently allow image uploads, please share any details you can about the images, colours, flowers, textures or designs that have inspired you. We will follow up with you after reviewing your inquiry to gather any additional information needed and begin exploring your floral vision together.

For planning purposes, wedding floral commissions begin at a minimum investment of $750 - with a 50% non-refundable retainer upfront to secure us for your special day.  Please note:  We accept a limited number of weddings each season and work by advance booking and consultation.
