A wee bit of history:

The name Highland Thistle and Bloom is a nod to our strong Scottish roots and launched in memory of Shannon's mother, the late Dr. Eileen (Pottie) Forrester.  Back in the early days the name 'Highland Thistle' was previously used by the Forrester School of Dance junior dance company, as dance has been a significant part the Forrester family for over 60 years. A perfect opportunity to re-purpose a name that was special to us, and to beautifully commemorate our dance school founder,  the late Mrs. Forrester.   

 

Highland Thistle and Bloom designs are perfect for couples and clients who enjoy artistic and upscale floral creations with those key customized touches added! Our custom design work is curated using premium florals, textures, elements, and products you won't see anywhere else.  

 

Please note: As a private design studio and wedding venue, consultations for couples and clients are by appointment only.
